Ideas! I’ve been known for some great ones. Perhaps, though, I come up with TOO many, get way too gung-ho about them and then I simply don’t have the time to handle them.

So I’ll throw these out there for someone else to go make vision boards and get them up and running. (or get in touch if you actually like any of these and want to collaborate on them.)

• Life Whoops

In lieu of life-“hacking,” using the other type of cough “whooping” to playfully counter the glut of Medium stories with life lessons, tips, learning and hacks.

• Writer’s Room

A place where fiction writers join together, hash out ideas for characters, drafts and storylines then write up episodes of serial dramas, comedies or other. Groups can post as a new account or individual writers can take lead on specific episodes.

• Human Remains

Writers of the beloved but now-defunct publication Human Parts pool their talents to keep the dream alive while infusing new blood into the veins of…(okay, my corpse metaphor is creeping ME out almost as much as the title).

• Brown Paper

A Latino-based collective for writers or stories of color on the English-language side of Medium. A nod to popular pubs for blacks, women, etc.

• The Thing’s The Plays™

(or: Plays, Well with Others)

A little niche of the Great Green-M Way for playwrights, screenwriters or aspiring web series makers to post short plays, scenes, monologues, films, teleplays, screenplays, radio plays, webisodes or other dramatic prose that is meant to be performed.
