the list was not long:

- a crunchy warm Cuban sandwich

- Sunday sibling dinners

- and Ma

for so long:

I took for granted

my easy access

to rice & beans

tostones

all of the pork

Cuban bread
(con mantequilla, claro)

and the ability

to get decent croquetas

even at the grocery store.
