I always enjoyed your cartoons.

Certainly, I’m saddened to hear you are giving it up. As you said yourself, “I needed art to achieve some kind of balance in life” and I hope that you hear your words and reconsider.

I fully admit that I do not know you, your struggles with your health, mental health, or your life at all, and I hope that you take my words only positively as encouragement. I don’t think you need to shift your focus so dramatically.

Once I wrote something that I think applies: YOU have to find your way, define your own success and adjust accordingly.

So, you may not make the Cartoonists Society, or show well at the convention, but you have certainly touched a good number of folks here. And I hope that means something to you.

If you never post here again, know that you lightened my day on many occasion and I’m sure I’m not alone. But, I sincerely hope to read you again.

All my best,
